Scope Ratings has today affirmed its long- and short-term ratings on ING Bank. At the same time, it has assigned a BBB rating to ING Group’s latest AT1 issue.

Scope rates at A+/Stable new TLAC/MREL-eligible senior debt issued by ING Group; also upgrades to AA-/Stable senior unsecured debt issued by ING Bank (in line with the bank’s existing Issuer Rating).

The rating action reflects ING’s successful transition to a streamlined and simplified bank business model as well as its improved financial profile.
