Scope Ratings is calling for comments on its updated Consumer Products Rating Methodology until 16 October 2022.

The proposed update of the methodology includes the following adjustments:

• Mainly editorial changes, aimed at providing further clarity on ESG, brand strength and ensuring consistent format with Scope’s other corporate rating methodologies.
• Extended guidance on the assessment of business risk profiles, including the ‘A’ and ‘AA and above’ categories as well as ‘B‘ and ‘CCC and below’ categories.

Scope invites issuers, investors and other interested parties to comment on the methodology by 16 October 2022 as part of the agency’s ongoing commitment to transparency and open dialogue with market participants.
