Scope Ratings has announced its proposal to update its European Utilities Rating Methodology.

One proposed change to the European Utilities Rating Methodology is to expand Scope’s approach to rating European renewable energy corporates and to withdraw the Renewable Energy Corporates Rating Methodology.

Scope has invited issuers, investors and other interested parties to comment on the European Utilities Rating Methodology, including this proposed change, by 17 February 2023, as part of Scope’s ongoing commitment to transparency and open dialogue with market participants.
