      Scope withdraws MS "Deutschland" rating

Scope Ratings ("Scope") has withdrawn the rating for MS "Deutschland" ("MSD") today. The withdrawal applies to the CCC+ issuer rating of MSD Beteilingungsgesellschaft as well as the BBB- bond rating.

This rating withdrawal ends the review process of September 3, 2013.
A rating agency must have sufficient information in order to provide investors with an accurate assessment of the creditworthiness of issuers and their bonds. In Scope’s opinion, it no longer has sufficient information to rate MSD and is consequently withdrawing the rating.
