Scope Ratings withdraws D ratings on Alno and its bond due to decision to cease analytical coverage
Rating Rationale
Alno AG (‘Alno’) had filed to open insolvency proceedings under its own management (‘Insolvenzverfahren in Eigenverwaltung’) on 11 July 2017. In the course of the insolvency proceedings significant parts of Alno have been sold to RiverRock European Opportunities Fund II Limited, Dublin in January 2018. Alno’s EUR 45m senior unsecured corporate bond (ISIN DE000A1R1BR4) has matured on 14 May 2018. Bondholders will likely receive a to-be-determined compensation once the insolvency proceedings have been concluded.
Scope has decided to withdraw the unsolicited issuer rating on Alno as well as the rating on the matured corporate bond.
