      Scope affirms and withdraws ratings on notes of Globaldrive Germany Retail VFN 2018 BV – Auto ABS

      Transaction performs better than expected; ratings withdrawn for business reasons.

      Rating action

      Scope has today affirmed and withdrawn the AAASF ratings on Class A1 and Class A2 issued by Globaldrive Germany Retail VFN 2018 BV.

      Transaction overview

      The transaction was a true-sale securitisation of a granular revolving portfolio (EUR 449.7m at closing) of amortising auto loans granted to private individuals in Germany. The fixed rate loans were originated by FCE Bank plc German branch and its successor Ford Bank GmbH, the German financial services provider of Ford Motor Company.Structured finance only.

      Rating rationale

      Scope withdraws the ratings on Class A1 and Class A2 for business reasons.

      The transaction has performed better than expected since its closing on 19 November 2018.

      Prior to the issuance of the rating or outlook action, the rated entity was given the opportunity to review the rating and/or outlook and the principal grounds on which the credit rating and/or outlook is based. Following that review, the rating was not amended before being issued.
