Scope has affirmed the BBB- issuer rating and has revised the Outlook to Stable on MOL Nyrt.
The Outlook revision to Stable reflects Scope’s expectation of rising leverage driven by moderating commodity prices but also by the impact of the fire at the Danube refinery in October 2025.

Scope has completed a monitoring review for Hungarian oil and gas company MOL
No action has been taken on the BBB-/Positive issuer rating on MOL Nyrt. and its financing subsidiary MOL Group Finance Zrt. Similarly, no action was taken on the S-2 short-term debt rating and BBB- senior unsecured debt rating.
