The main updates primarily relate to editorial changes and some additional clarifications in regard to how we apply the Aircraft Non-payment Insurance (“NPI”) framework. The mapping table in Appendix IV has been replaced with a description on how we map public ratings to Scope’s ratings. The monitoring section has been amended to give more details on the monitoring process and several parts of the methodology have received minor changes to ensure more transparency and provide a more detailed explanation of the rating process.

No existing ratings are affected by the changes in this methodology update.
