Scope Ratings has raised its issuer rating of Tecnocom to BBB-/Stable from BB+/Positive. The upgrade is based on the agency’s view of Tecnocom’s 100% parent Indra Sistemas SA. The rating is withdrawn due to Tecnocom’s full integration into Indra.

Scope Ratings has updated its rating report on Tecnocom, rated BB+ with Positive Outlook.

The rating action is driven by the improved financial risk profile of Tecnocom and the expected future parent-subsidiary relationship with Indra Sistemas SA.

Scope Ratings says that Tecnocom’s BB corporate issuer rating and Positive Outlook will not be immediately affected by the announcement of Indra Sistemas, S.A. (unrated) on 29 November 2016 to make a voluntary tender offer to Tecnocom’s shareholders.

The Outlook change reflects the company’s accelerated growth in Latin America and Scope’s expectations that Tecnocom is likely to further improve its Financial Risk Profile.
