Scope Ratings today announced the publication of its updated Aviation Finance Rating Methodology which now integrates in full the Aircraft Non-payment Insurance Methodology. Correspondingly, the Aircraft Non-payment Insurance Methodology has been withdrawn.

The updated methodology also provides further transparency on our approach to aircraft engine pooling and aircraft sub-leasing. We further introduced some editorial changes and clarifications to improve consistency and readability.

No outstanding public ratings are affected by the changes in this methodology update.
